Activation
* When a customer buys a gift card, it SHOULD NOT be signed into any loyalty program.
* Grab any unused gift card
* When doing it on the terminal, make sure the app VANTIV is opened up.
* Under the transaction amount, there is a few options (credit card, debit, gift)
*Choose the gift option
* Once you choose gift, there will be 6 tabs you can pick from
* Choose the ACTIVATE tab
* It will tell you to enter the amount (example: $25.00)
* Hit the confirm button
* It will ask you to swipe the card to load the amount
* Click the gift tab again & click on BALANCE
* Swipe to check the balance on the card
TO USE A GIFT CARD DURING AN TRANSACTION
LightSpeed
* Hit the PAYMENT option
* Enter the amount on the gift card in the CASH portion
* Hit FINISH SALE
Terminal Side
* Click on the VANTIV add
* Click on the GIFT tab
* Click on the SALE option
* Enter the amount of the gift card and hit CONFIRM
* Swipe Card
